ISPI Performance Improvement Initiatives (PI2) for Community Outreach
The ISPI Performance Improvement Initiatives (PI2) for Community Outreach Program is an engaging, dynamic and collaborative opportunity for ISPI members, organizations and chapters.
We aim to provide collaborative volunteer opportunities that allow all ISPI members to engage in their local communities through meaningful experiences that foster personal and professional growth. By building strong mutually beneficial relationships at a local community level we add value to our members professionally and personally.
Benefits of the PI2 Program
1Allows members to find and support PI2 Initiatives in their own community offering a greater connection between you, your local community and ISPI.
2Allows our student and university members to develop and initiative PI2 projects that are aligned to their education program offerings.
3Allows for new practitioners to gain consulting experience and engage in building their knowledge and skill set.
4Provides an opportunity for potential case studies for those seeking CPT certification or other ISPI certifications.
5Allows current practitioners to engage in projects outside of their current scope of work allowing for greater application of knowledge and skill sets to broaden their area of expertise.
6Allows ISPI members to engage in mentorship opportunities by serving as Project Managers or Subject Matter Experts for projects submitted by students and new practitioners.
7Offers an opportunity to engage in potential case studies that could lead to potential publications in ISPI journals.
How the PI2 Program Works
Projects are submitted through this web page (click below link). Projects may be submitted by any ISPI Member, Chapters, Students and Organizational Members.
The PI2 Committee will review all project eligibility forms submitted and make recommendation to the board on projects that are ready to move forward.
Approved projects will work with the PI^2 committee to form formal project teams, detail the projects’ scope and deliverables and begin the project work. Projects are scoped to be completed in less than 10 months. You can access the PI2 program guide below.
To volunteer to be part of a future PI2 project team, login or join ISPI and visit the PI2 Program social group page for more information. You MUST be logged into your ISPI account for access.
