• Volunteer and Leadership Opportunities

Be part of the ISPI Team as a volunteer or in a board leadership role.

  • Volunteer Opportunities

ISPI has many development opportunities to work closely with the Society and gain new professional and personal experiences. Volunteers can expand their network of contacts as they interact with other Performance Improvement professionals. The purpose of the ISPI Network is to link ISPI members with development opportunities within the Society. ISPI volunteers have the opportunity to:

    • Use and expand their professional skills and knowledge.
    • Participation in Community Service Programs.
    • Build relationships within their professional community.
    • Strengthen the field by strengthening the organization that best represents the field.
    • The typical volunteer career path begins at either a chapter or Society committee as a committee member and progresses through deputy committee chair to committee chair.
    • Committee chairs are prime candidates for consideration for the ISPI Board.
    • Chapter leadership volunteers who have completed their Chapter term commitments are prime candidates for Society committee positions.
    • Society members are encouraged to become part of local or virtual chapters. Chapter members are encouraged to volunteer with their local chapters.

ISPI's tiered volunteer structure is designed to provide flexible opportunities:

    • Micro Volunteer (3 hours per month)
    • General Volunteer (3 - 6 hours per month)
    • Leadership (6 - 10 hours per month)
  • ISPI Committees

ISPI operates through a working board. Each Director leads a Portfolio, which includes committees and taskforces. You can view the current Directors and their Portfolios on the ISPI Leadership page.
